Important Note:
 
Both Selenite and Satin Spar are from the gypsum family (along with Desert Rose.) They have the same/ similar compound formula of CaSO4·2H2O, hence we use the two names interchangeably. Selenite is clear almost transparent whereas Satin Spar Selenite is fibrous and milky. True clear selenite is rarely available and commonly it’s the Satin Spar Selenite we see in bountiful supply on the market. We sell Satin Spar and, we do not have any clear Selenite in stock. On top of that, Satin Spar is regularly available and it doesn't mean that it won't have the same effect as true Selenite as they are chemically the same thing.
